The Department of Business Administration (BBA) at V.S. Sivalingam Government Arts College was established in 2017 with the aim of preparing students for successful careers in management, business, and entrepreneurship. The department offers a 3-year, 6-semester full-time undergraduate programme with a sanctioned intake of 60 students.
The programme provides a strong foundation in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, and Business Management, while giving equal importance to practical learning and professional skills. Through seminars, workshops, presentations, and placement-oriented activities, students are encouraged to develop leadership, communication, teamwork, entrepreneurial thinking, and managerial skills.
The department is committed to nurturing confident, competent, and responsible graduates who are prepared to meet the evolving demands of the business and professional world.
